Pete Rose - aka Charlie Hustle - played Major League Baseball from 1963-1986 with the majority of those years with the Cincinnati Reds (1963-1978). He was part of the Big Four, NL Rookie of the Year (1963), a 17-time All-Star (1965, 1967-1971, 1973-1982, 1985), three-time World Series champion (1975, 1976, 1980), two-time Gold Glove winner (1969, 1970), three-time NL batting champion (1968, 1969, 1973) and manager for the Reds for five years (1984-1989). He holds the record for most hits at 4256! He is in the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and his number (14) is retired.
