Barry Larkin - "Poise"
Barry Larkin played Major League Baseball as a shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds from 1986-2004. He is a twelve-time All-Star (1988-1991, 1993-1997, 1999, 2000, 2004), nine-time Silver Slugger Award winner (1988-1992, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999) and three-time Gold Glove Award winner (1994-1996). Larkin was the NL MVP in 1995 and a World Series champion in the famous 1990 wire-to-wire win against the Oakland Athletics. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 2008 and then into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012. His number (11) is retired by the Reds.
