Gaylord Perry - "The Doctor"
Gaylord Perry played Major League Baseball from 1962-1983. He was a right-handed pitcher with a career ERA of 3.11 and played 10 seasons with the San Francisco Giants. Perry is a five-time All-Star (1966, 1970, 1972, 1974, 1979), two-time Cy Young Award winner (1972, 1978) and pitched a no-hitter on September 17, 1968. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991 and has also been included in the San Francisco Giants Wall of Fame and the Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame. In 2005, his uniform number (36) was retired by the San Francisco Giants.
