Lefty O'Doul was a Major League Baseball left player from 1919-1934. He was a left fielder and played for the New York Giants in 1928 for one season and then returned in 1933 for two more seasons. O'Doul was an All-Star (1933), two-time NL batting champion (1929, 1932) and World Series champion (1933). In 2002, he was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.
