Tommy Helms - "Baseball Blood"

Tommy Helms played Major League Baseball from 1964-1977. He was the second baseman for the Cincinnati Reds for eight seasons (1964-1971) as well as managed the Reds for two years (1988-1989). He was a two-time All Star (1967, 1980), and two-time Gold Glove Award winner (1970, 1971) as well as the NL Rookie of the year (1966). Helms is also in the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame.
