Johnny Bench "Exemplar"

Johnny Bench played Major League Baseball from 1967-1983 as the catcher for the Cincinnati Reds. He is a 14-time All-Star (1968-1980), 10-time Gold Glove Award winner (1968-1977), and two-time World Series champion (1975, 1976). Bench was part of the Big Four, the 1968 NL Rookie of the Year and the 1976 World Series MVP. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 1986 and then into National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989. His number (5) is retired by the Reds. This painting is featured in the book "Cincinnati Reds Baseball Legends."
