Morris "Moe" Berg
25 475 $25.00 - $475.00
Several years ago I collaborated with Benjamin Blackburn, a very talented artist who specializes in wood cuts. Ben created the wood cut and I created a unique background.
Moe Berg was a Major League catcher and coach with several teams from 1923-1939. He was a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia Law School, read 10 newspapers a day and spoke several languages. He was known as the "brainiest man in baseball" and had several successful appearances on radio game shows. After retiring from baseball, he served as a spy for the Office of Strategic Services during WWII with the US government.
